NEW HYUNDAI i20 launched

  Hyundai Motor India has launched the third-generation   HYUNDAI I20   in India. Prices for the i20 premium hatchback start from Rs 6.80 lakh for the base petrol variant and go up to Rs 10.60 for the top-end diesel-manual. Prices for the turbo-iMT variant start from Rs 8.80 lakh with the turbo-DCT priced from Rs 10.67 lakh. Prices for the diesel Hyundai i20 start from Rs 8.20 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom India and applicable up to December 31, 2020. Bookings for the new i20 have already opened online or at Hyundai dealerships for Rs 21,000. 2020 Hyundai i20 exteriors and dimensions The Hyundai i20 sits on Hyundai's new K-platform and the hatchback is now 10mm longer than the earlier Elite i20 at 3,995mm, 41mm wider at 1,775mm while height remains unchanged at 1,505mm.   Hyundai i20 2020 promises a host of design updates on the outside and now looks sportier than ever. Hyundai i20 will offer petrol, diesel and turbo engine options and will get manual transmission, DCT, IVT as well as segment-first IMT. There are six single-tone and two dual-tone colour options on i20. i20 2020 is one of the most eagerly awaited car launches of the year and the carmaker on Tuesday officially released the images of the premium hatchback while announcing pre-launch bookings will open from Wednesday (October 28). Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Friday launched the all-new version of its sports utility vehicle Thar, priced between Rs 9.8 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has introduced the model in two trims AX and LX with both petrol and diesel powertrain options. The petrol AX trims are priced at Rs 9.8 lakh, Rs 10.65 lakh and Rs 11.9 lakh, while the diesel versions are tagged at Rs 10.85 lakh, Rs 12.10 lakh and Rs 12.2 lakh. The petrol LX version with manual transmission is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh and the diesel trims are tagged at Rs 12.85 lakh and Rs 12.95 lakh. The petrol trims with automatic transmission are priced at Rs 13.45 lakh and Rs 13.55 lakh, while the two six-speed automatic diesel variants are tagged at Rs 13.65 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh.
